Para que esto sea posible no es necesario que el dispositivo en cuesti\u00f3n sea muy potente, simplemente se necesita un equipo de audio adecuado y alguna forma de conectarse a una red TCP\/IP.<\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e1s conocido y usado es el X-lite, aunque tambi\u00e9n existen muchos otros que presentan buenas funcionalidades.<\/p>\n<p>El concepto de tel\u00e9fono est\u00e1 hoy d\u00eda en constante evoluci\u00f3n, lo que hace dif\u00edcil en ocasiones diferenciar lo que es un softphone de lo que no lo es. A la costumbre de usar un tel\u00e9fono tradicional, se une el grave inconveniente de que al tener el tel\u00e9fono en el ordenador se a\u00f1aden complicaciones extras.
